Every performer has a first act — the one that cracked them open, the one that showed them who they were meant to be on stage. For Bella, this is that act. And it was born at Vamp.

Vamp is Kansas City's beloved burlesque home, co-founded by the incomparable Penelope Maisoui and her partner and wife Blue Steel. Penelope is Bella's burlesque mom — the woman who took the time to make sure Bella's first time on stage was nothing short of magical, and made sure every moment was documented so it could be treasured forever. That's the kind of teacher Penelope is. That's the kind of community Vamp is.

This act has been ReVAMPed — pun absolutely intended — several times since that first night. It's evolved, grown bolder, and gotten sparklier with every iteration. But the heart of it has never changed: it's the act that started everything.
